WHEN LIFE HURTS
counseling

Relational Advantage, Inc. provides professional individual, marriage and family counseling. We all know that life can be extremely challenging at times, and that it can be very difficult to face these challenges alone. If you are struggling with the painful emotions associated with depression, anxiety, relational problems, a significant loss or unmanageable stress, counseling can help you get back on track and begin enjoying life again!

According to a survey conducted by Consumer Reports, nine out of ten Americans who had received counseling said that psychotherapy has helped them. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of treatment while utilizing effective solution-focused counseling methods designed to help you discover and apply real answers to your life challenges as soon as possible.

A Word from Dr. Linaman:

“I have been providing counseling services to individuals, couples and families for over twenty-five years.  I work primarily with older adolescents and adults who are motivated and ready to discover new insights and solutions to the challenges they face.

Many of the patients I work with struggle with debilitating worry, fear and anxiety or feelings of sadness, despair and worthlessness. They’ve lost the energy, joy and hopefulness they once had and often feel like giving up on life. Some people find themselves facing difficult parenting challenges with their children and teens and feel discouraged, worried and stuck.

Others I work with are in marriages and relationships filled with destructive conflict or stony silence. Some suffer pain caused by abusive behaviors, mistrust, anger and addictions. The companionship, love and trust they once enjoyed have been replaced by disengagement, indifference and suspicion.

For me, there is no greater satisfaction than helping people gain the insights, overcome the obstacles, begin the healing process and move ahead into happier, more productive futures. I look forward to the opportunity to help you experience the peace, joy, fulfillment and hope you long for.”
